CS HUB - Community Computing Event

The computing education landscape can often be confusing for educators to navigate. Many teachers have not had formal preparation in computer science, yet are now expected to address the New Jersey Computer Science Standards in their classrooms. Meanwhile, students and families explore computing, technology, and STEM independently—creating a wide range of abilities and experiences in our classrooms.

In this 2-hour professional development event, the Northern New Jersey Montclair State University Computer Science Education HUB aims to connect community organizations and teachers to foster collaboration and build partnerships that support New Jersey students in computer science.

Join us for an evening of networking, learning, and resource-sharing as multiple community organizations present short talks and demonstrations designed to inspire cross-sector collaboration and strengthen CS education across our region. #Montclair
